Gulf Bank – Senior Manager, Data Science Department

Jan 2022 → Nov 2025

  • Led the Data team through the Core Transformation Project, a key initiative in Gulf Bank's 2020–2025 strategic plan.
  • Defined enterprise data strategy; designed and implemented enterprise-wide data marts.
  • Delivered a data solution that improved bank-wide compliance metrics by more than 25x.
  • Drove digital transformation by building the digital banking data mart and supporting the phased mobile banking rollout.
  • Built a suite of fraud monitoring reports for the Risk and Fraud Management team, supporting proactive fraud prevention.
  • Established a formal process for data requests across the bank.
  • Excellence Award (2023); recognized by the Deputy CEO for the Core Transformation Project (2024).

Boubyan Bank – Lead AI Scientist

  • Developed and deployed the first AI recommendation system in the bank's mobile app.
  • Launched 'Boubyan Spending Insights' — Kuwait's first consumer spending intelligence feature.
  • Developed a data mart for advanced analytics, with documentation and automated testing.
  • Led the bank's first comprehensive mobile app analytics initiative, shaping product roadmap and UX.
  • Selected for the Talent Program (2018) and Most Valuable Player Q1 (2019).

National Bank of Kuwait – MIS Specialist

  • Led the enterprise-scale LMS project (1,000+ users) to drive sales, improve service quality, and reduce customer churn.
  • Analyzed branch traffic using the Qmatic queuing system to optimize staffing and improve customer flow.
